NumID links your phone number to a custom routing email address (e.g., [your-phone]@numid.us), a shareable public directory profile, and a secure client-side E2EE vault. We use Cloudflare Email Routing to forward messages to your private destination inbox, which you can update at any time without changing your public NumID address.
It is incredibly easy to remember and communicate. Stating your phone number verbally, over the phone, or at a checkout counter is fast and error-free. It protects your personal inbox from spam lists while keeping you easily reachable.
The Private Identity Vault uses zero-knowledge, client-side encryption (AES-GCM). Your credentials—such as SSNs, licenses, passwords, and bank accounts—are encrypted directly in your browser using a Master PIN derived on your machine. We never see or store your Master PIN, ensuring your data remains private and untouchable.
A clean, numeric profile link (numid.dev/[phone]) that aggregates your social profiles, messaging platforms, and contact details. You can easily toggle visibility controls in your dashboard to choose which platforms are public and which are kept private.
From your dashboard, you can display a secure QR code and copyable link pointing to /v/[phone]. When unlocked via your Master PIN in the browser, authorized partners can securely view your designated E2EE vault items directly from the web client without exposing your plain-text data over insecure channels.
We use the Twilio Verify API to send a secure One-Time Passcode (OTP) via SMS. Your phone number must be verified before your NumID profile and vault are created, preventing unauthorized signups and ensuring total security.
